Your guild peeked my interest through Guild Recruitment forums and it specifically said "Priests", so I wasn't sure of which spec you were most looking for.

Again, I understand the fight, I was just asking if you do the fight any specific way. You don't have to be so condescending.

Apologies if most of it's a giant pile of wall of text, I might get carried away sometimes when it comes to filling out an application.

Also if I'm considered to go holy, I don't entirely have a complete holy gear set up, but willing to regem for the needs suited. Also if Im more seen going holy, I have 20 Shards of Val'anyr sitting in my bag. Guildies dont really care to get it for me as its not considered best in slot for discipline. I noticed I didn't have my current holy spec, so Ill just link a talent calculator of what points Id choose:

Depending on the fight like Halion Heroic 25 if its necessary Id switch out of healing prayers and pick up body and soul.
But knowing if there's a disc priest shielding, it can be quite a frustrating talent to use sometimes.

I maximize my UI by using grid and mouse-over healing. Upon that, I also set up to show boss debuffs, Power Word Shield, and Weakened Soul on grid targets.
I also use Power Auras to make sure I always have my inner fire up, borrowed time, Penance CD, and PoM CD.
Other than that, the other addons are extraneous Id say, but make the UI look more clean and so I have a clear view of my environment and my raid frames.
Standard Deadly Bossmods, I also use DXE as well as both timers are generally iffy at times depending on the fight. Not to mention they each have something I enjoy utilizing.

5. What are your past guild affiliation(s) for this character and why did you leave?
The two most recent guilds I've been in are SERIOUSTWOWORDGUILDNAME on Eldre'thalas for the long haul of Ulduar. We cleared everything on normal and did months behind kills of the ulduar hardmodes when Trial of the Crusader was released. I left because the guilded imploded and set off from greener pastures.

The second guild I've most recently attended is We Know Girls. They're a guild full of really high end players and I started with them in the midst of early ICC.
Upon obtaining a semi early kill of Lich King, we went straight into the hardmodes, obtaining some of the top US 100 kills of some of the fights. But the picture I just painted is flawed now. We were making tons of progression on Lich King heroic last month, even obtained Heroic RS 25, but recently alot of the core members have had to leave due to real life issues. Now were in the constant cycle of trying to get people to show up on time, and have the 25 people to finally kill Lich King heroic once and for all. Alas, I've lost my patience and I'm tired of only farming the content we've killed. I really want to finish this expansion knowing I was able to clear everything because I was a good team player and decent healer. I'm currently just fed up and willing to give other venues a shot at this point.

7. JC is not a kid-friendly guild, will you be able to tolerate profanity on Vent and being held accountable for your actions if you screw up?
Always, if you don't tell someone they've screwed up, they usually just keep repeating their mistakes which is just frustrating and annoying. Criticism is always welcome to me as I'm not perfect and hearing feedback from others gives me an idea to justify my play style and other mechanics I need to improve upon in this game.

I have Ventrilo and a headset, I am perfectly comfortable with communicating as communicating as a healer is crucial and detrimental to a well synergized raid.

10. What is at least one aspect of your life that might interfere with our raid schedule, and how often?
Nothing unless its a family vacation or if Im in the hospital due to some unforeseen accident or event
I am a registered nurse and work the usual 6-5 shift at the local hospital.
Traffics never a problem, and I'm never on call.

I recently switch my weapons for trauma as I noticed a slight HPS increase over frozen bonespike.

I maximize on these fights by effectively shielding and predicting incoming damage.
Prayer of Mending will always be used on cooldown, generally on the tanks to guarantee it to bounce.
And if needed on certain fights, precast a prayer of healing before the damage, so when it hits, eats through the shield, the heal will generally top the said players off.

As far as gemming and speccing is concerned, it's pretty standard. I could take out the point in holy concentration for another spellwarding, but I like to keep it safer than sorry and throw in one point there. Since mana no longer becomes an issue as such a high gear level for me, I gem full spellpower with the Emberskyflare diamond. Either way I do have extra meta gems in my bags and wand to swap out if I use the Insightful Earthsiege Diamond for any reason. (i.e: lack of replenishment, heroic Lich King at times, etc.) That way I can maximize my spellpower for shields and supposed "big" tank heals when needed. My two current professions are Enchanting/Tailoring and lately I've been considering replacing tailoring for engineering, as tailoring feels like a pretty worthless profession. My enchants are pretty standard as well with tuskarr's vitality on my boots. Mobility is always a detrimental aspect when it comes to raiding. Moving faster out of defile, moving faster in to position to heal earlier, and moving in range to heal someone is always imperative.

12. What is your strong point when it comes to raiding? Your weak point?
If the question is asking, "What makes you a good raider?" then I can effectively say that I have great communication. I don't just blindly do something off on my own that could risk a tank or raid death and always call on when I'm using my pain suppression or discuss before hand of the fight when I'll pop divine hymn.
Ontop of that I'd say I have great raid awareness and usually never die to something or stand in something as it's obvious.
My weakness is probably my way of talking a bit too much in vent during raids. If you need me to shut up, by all means tell me to keep it down. I'm a good listener.

13. Any other pertinent information you feel we should know?
I don't know if it's pertinent, but I am diagnosed with type I diabetes. Sometimes I may have to take a minute break to check my blood glucose so I don't pass out or feel like crap during raids. Other than that if Im considered I will guarantee you will find yourself a dedicated discipline priest healer that knows his fights beforehand, willing to listen to advice, and act as a team player during raids to defeat encounters. I don't go out of my way on fights to "cheese" meters, but do what's always effective and best for the raid. HPS doesn't matter if its a tank death or some other raid death due to it being my fault and not effectively preshielding damage or precasting my heals and just blindly healing people left and right. Effective healing is always my prime concern. When I'm healing, I always ask myself the question: "How needs to be focused on healing within the next second? Does a tank need a cooldown soon? Should I switch to tank healing for a bit? Who should I be preshielding?" Good thinking like this generally leads to separating the good discipline priests from the discipline priests that "think" they know what they're doing.

I'm not here to get "epics lol", I've got most of my gear grinded out by proving myself with my previous guild, but now that they're hardly even getting 25 people to log on, I figured its time to move on and find a better less frustrating environment. I'm here to find a well synergized guild to raid with and experience progression raiding at its finest and I feel by looking at your guys' determination and teamwork, you accomplish great things and I'm attempting to become a part of that team. With that note out of the way, I thank you for taking your time to read my application and hope you consider me. I take time in my applications because while even this is a game, there are 24 other real people Ill be raiding with and I'd rather not waste their time. I'm not like those individuals that give you one word answers to application questions and move on hoping Ill get accepted. I answer the questions thoroughly and to the point because I'm here in the first step of the process of proving myself.
