We have opened up recruitment to all applicants/classes as we prepare for Cataclysm.About <Just Crusade>Just Crusade is a progression PvE raiding guild. This means that we strive to tackle new content as it is made available, which requires adhering to a raid schedule, perseverance through the countless hours learning [and wiping to] new bosses, and above all else, playing your character skillfully and to its fullest potential in a PvE setting.
The guild was created over 5 years ago, the second day of release, on the Elune server and has raided every instance since Molten Core. Some members are still here from those early days and the guild will still be here in Cataclysm.
Raid ScheduleWe have scheduled raids four nights a week for end-game content. Our current raid schedule is as follows:
| Monday: | 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM EST |
| Tuesday: | 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM EST |
| Wednesday: | 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM EST |
| Thursday: | 7:30 PM - 11:30 PM EST |
On occasion we will raid past 11:30PM, mainly during progression, but never for more than 30 minutes.
ExpectationsThe trial period generally lasts 4 weeks. We expect all trials and members to maintain excellent attendance over long periods of time (months to years). Additionally, applicants should excel at their class and be prepared to succeed in the hardest of raid encounters - your skills will be tested during your application process.
Other info- You must be at least 18 years of age to apply. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- Ventrilo must be installed and working and you must be able to communicated with a mic.
- JC utilizes a zero-sum DKP point system. Trial Members will be able to build points as regular members, but regular members will have priority on loot.
- Gear should be of an appropriate level for JC's progression, and gemmed/enchanted intelligently.
- Must have a good and reliable Internet connection, you can't raid if you're offline.
- Computer must be able to handle a 25-man raid without consistently freezing/crashing.
What sets us apart from the other 12/12 HM guilds out there?ICC rankings: We were US #12 to complete Glory of the Icecrown Raider. We clear all hardmodes every week on our first raid night and have all attempts remaining for work on LK.
LK progression: We will continue to kill LK 25 hardmode every week to farm the mount and weapons until Cataclysm.
Raiding costs covered: We sell Kingslayer titles to the server and split the profits among guild members, covering all consumable and raiding expenses.
Raid time for trials: Trials will be given priority when creating the raid roster, instead of being benched for progression. We maintain a small roster and we recruit for full-time spots, not backup positions. Our trial process is 3-4 weeks and we don’t judge based on a single night’s performance.
Fair loot system: You will be able to earn DKP at the same rate as normal raiders, which prevents favoritism present in some loot council systems. We’re not recruiting people who are motivated by loot, but it is nice to get some shiny new purple pixels from time to time. We also have different pools of DKP for each tier of content to discourage hoarding.
Flexible Attendance Policy: Although we expect our raiders to maintain high attendance over months and years, we know that there are always RL things that come up. We have worked around school assignments, exams, deployments, weddings and vacations in order to keep our solid core of raiders happy in-game and out. That said, we expect incredible performance and effort on your part to make it onto our core roster.
Stability: The guild is over five years old, formed the second day of release. We've been the top guild on the server since BC and have every intention of continuing to raid in Cataclysm. We have dealt with the ups and downs of progression over the years and have consistently ranked in the US top 100. We pride ourselves on our mature and no-drama environment which has allowed us to make the most of our 4-day raiding schedule.
